GRONK PLAYGROUND
On behalf of my family, we knew we wanted to do something big for kids in this community. Building a playground was an idea that I thought of to give back to Boston and show appreciation for the amazing support that I have received while playing in New England. Having it on the Esplanade, where the duck boats ride down the river, makes this extra special for me. We’re pumped to make this the best playground in the area, to further inspire kids to enjoy exercise and get outdoors.

About the Gronk Playground
Gronk Nation Youth Foundation made a $1.2M dollar donation to the Esplanade Association, for a full renovation of the Charlesbank Playground. The oldest of the three playgrounds located along the Esplanade. The renovated playground will be accessible, modern, and allow for kids of all ages, sizes, and abilities to play in a safe and fun space. The playground is expected to be complete Spring 2023.
